Carlson brings over 15 years of experience in the Defense space, specializing in software engineering, DevSecOps, automation, and technical leadership. He has a strong track record of driving cultural transformation and delivering innovative solutions.
Before joining HST, Carlson served at the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, where he led large-scale platform engineering and automation initiatives for multiple defense customers. His leadership drove the adoption of agile at scale, the creation of reusable infrastructure baselines, and the delivery of thousands of hours in operational efficiency through automation.
