Celebrating a Decade of Impact and Innovation at High Side Technology

This July, we’re thrilled to celebrate a major milestone: High Side Technology’s 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, we’ve emerged as a trusted partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Communities (ICs), driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions. This milestone not only reflects our growth but also the dedication of our highly skilled team, the trust of our clients, and the strength of the partnerships we have built.
As we celebrate this occasion, we reflect on our journey, commemorate the milestones that have defined our success, and unveil a unique logo specially designed to honor our anniversary.
Reflecting on a Decade of Impact and Innovation
HST began its journey on July 1, 2015. The vision was clear: provide high-end engineering services. At the time of our startup, we were a sister company to Chesapeake Technology International (CTI) (which continued to focus on advanced technology development). Our initial efforts involved subcontracting with the Navy, specifically with Naval Information Warfare Pacific (NIWC PAC) and the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) at Point Mugu, Calif. Our mission was supporting DoD intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and Electronic Warfare/Electronic Attack (EW/EA) programs.
In only two years of operation, new opportunities made it advantageous for HST and CTI to separate ownership while maintaining a strong partnership.
Throughout the past decade, HST has grown organically by delivering impactful engineering solutions that government clients continue to demand and diversify. Some highlights from our journey:
- We’ve won prime contracts and task orders from the Navy and General Services Administration (GSA).
- Securing a GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) and a seat on the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus (OASIS+) Small Business (SB) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) (learn more about it here).
- Being awarded a Navy sole-source prime contract and three Other Transaction Authority (OTA) prime contract awards from DoD and IC organizations.
- We’ve also forged close collaborative relationships with selected industry partners, resulting in numerous subcontract awards over the years.
One of our Core Values is “Enduring Relationships,” and our trusted relationships with clients, partners, and teammates have been a fundamental catalyst for our successful first 10 years.

Unveiling a Celebratory Logo
In celebration of the 10th Anniversary, High Side is also releasing a new logo. The logo creatively constructs the number 10, using the building block motif from the original logo. This update pays homage to High Side’s legacy. The sparkles and confetti-like flair showcase High Side’s celebration. See the new logo on our website and across our social media sites.
Looking Toward the Future
While High Side Technology takes pride in its accomplishments over the first decade, we remain focused on the future and the opportunities it holds for us to make a difference. The next chapter will include a focus on growth and capabilities expansion in the ISR and space domains to meet critical national security priorities.
