High Side Technology (HST) has extensive experience in acquisition management. Most of our employees are either Project Management Professionals (PMP) or former Acquisition Corps (AC) members with Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Project Management Level III qualifications. As former active duty military personnel or US government civilians who have served in either defense engineering and acquisition activities and/or operational commands, we understand that it is critical to keep cost, schedule and performance on-track. HST can assist with Project Management (PM) to include Agile PM​; Financial Management/Budgeting; IT Service Management​ (ITSM), Acquisition/Procurement Strategies and others.

Our team has several Certified Scrum Masters (CSMs) who operate on a daily basis within the agile framework and are well-versed in the latest agile technologies (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, etc). We have experience as Contract Specialists (DAU Contracting Level III) and know how important it is to get contracting right. We assist our customers with financial management to ensure all projects are kept on-budget. As former Acquisition Program Managers, we can help develop sound acquisition/procurement strategies. We pair this project management experience with technical backgrounds (to include several M.S. Electrical Engineering graduates) to provide the right mix of PM, acquisition, operational and engineering experience!

Managing cost, schedule and performance is critical to a project’s success. Agile Project Management using today’s modern tools such as the Atlassian Suite including JIRA and Confluence in either a Sprint based cycle or simple KanBan adds an additional level of discipline which has proven to be highly effective, especially across a distributed workforce. HST has extensive experience managing projects. We are former US Navy Acquisition Program Managers (APM) who have managed multi-billion-dollar ACAT Programs of record (POR). We are certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) and/or Defense Acquisition University (DAU)-qualified Project Management certified. We are certified scrum masters (CSM) who utilize DI2E’s JIRA and Confluence on a daily basis. Combining the fundamentals of Project/Program Management with agile principals is a proven method for project success.
